as someone who is extremely into makeup & trying new products, i sure don’t stray out of my normal very often. however, it does have its perks. i have my daily routine down, so my makeup only takes about 30-40 minutes in the morning. with working full time & having to be at work by 8 or 9 everyday, having my routine allows me to get as much sleep as i possibly can.
i love this look because the my lipstick choices are endless, l can do liner or go without, and my face always looks fresh and clean. it is fast & easy with endless possibilities all while staying with the same products every morning. keep scrolling to read how i achieve this look & the products used!
primer
i start off with the smashbox photo finish hydrating & radiance primers. i’ll go in with the hydrating one first to make sure my skin isn’t too dry for my products. when it gets nice and tacky, i’ll layer the radiance on top to give my skin a nice finish to it. afterwards, i use the urban decay b6 vitamin-infused complexion prep priming spray. this sets my primers, and gives my face a nice dewy finish.
foundation
recently i have been OBSESSING over the make up for ever ultra HD foundation in the shade Y345. i apply a light layer all over my face with a real techniques miracle complexion sponge. occasionally i will go in with the morphe Y7 kabuki brush, but i have found the sponge to be quicker with more coverage.
concealer
using a sigma F70 concealer brush, i place the maybelline master conceal in the shade 20-light under my eyes, on my forehead, down the center of my nose, and on my cupids bow and chin. to blend all this out i use the same real techniques sponge. super easy.
setting powder
to set my foundation & concealer i use the coty airspun loose face powder in translucent extra coverage. for under my eyes, i will bake using the same real techniques sponge. after letting that sit for a few minutes, i brush it away using a sigma F30 large powder brush. i will also dust a light layer all over my face with the same sigma brush.
bronzer, blush & highlighter
my go-to bronzer right now is the sephora bronzing face powder in the shade light. i will dust it on the contours of my cheeks & my hairline with a real techniques multi task brush. this bronzer offers a light flush of warmth while still looking very natural.
my favorite blush for the past year or so has been the milani baked powder blush in the shade luminoso; i apply it with a morphe R14 contour brush. for my skin tone, it’s the perfect mix of pink & coral tones. i like my blush to look more neutral & this one does that for me.
as for my highlight, the becca shimmering skin perfector pressed in champagne pop is my most picked up. it’s not too bright or dark & it’s more of a golden highlight which i really enjoy. to apply, i use the morphe E61 highlight brush.
brows
my brow routine is super simple. i fill them in with the anastasia beverly hills brow wiz in the color caramel, clean up the edges with my concealer, and brush through them with the anastasia beverly hills clear brow gel.
eyes
i’ll prime my lids with some concealer & dust a light skin colored eye shadow on top to set it.
my everyday eye shadow palette is anastasia beverly hills modern renaissance. the shades in this palette are tones of warm orangey-reds/pinks with some shimmers as well.
i begin with golden ochre on a morphe E23, blending out and up to create a seamlessly blended transition shade. i then take raw sienna on a morphe E23 to begin deepening the crease. on a morphe E17, i pick up realgar and focus this shade on the lower part of crease and the outer corners of my eyes. for the look shown above the last shadow i use is red ochre & love letter on a mac 217. i mainly concentrate this color to the outer area of my crease and lid, blending lightly onto my lid to add a flush of color to it.
for my eyeliner, i use the tarte clay paint liner with the angled liner brush it came with. i rarely do a wing for work, but for the sake of this look i am including it. wings are tricky and i’m not even going to try and explain the process behind doing it. we’d be here all week.
after finishing my eye shadow and liner, i will coat my lashes with mascara. my all time favorite is maybelline falsies. i have been using it since middle school, it’s been in my makeup bag for many, MANY years.
lips
my go-to lip look is a nude, glossy shade. i first line & fill in my lips with the urban decay 24/7 glide-on lip pencil in the shade stark naked. after doing that, i go over it with the make up for ever artist plexi-gloss in the number 101. it is the perfect shade of nude for my skin tone without looking too pale or too dark.
setting spray
mac fix+ all over because it is super refreshing and you can never apply too much of it.
